The Good Salt Company Trading Terms
Welcome to The Good Salt Company ( s. brinch t/as) ("We, "Us" or "The Good Salt Company"). Please note that You, ("You" and "Your") as a purchaser of Products made available through The Good Salt Company and Your use of products provided by The Good Salt Company is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms").
Payment Methods
The Good Salt Company accepts most major credit and debit cards. We employ the services of Paypal to receive your payment and to ensure the best security of your details.
Order Confirmation
Once you have submitted you order you will be sent an order confirmation e-mail.
Out-of Stock
If any of the items you have ordered are out of stock we aim to notify you within 48 hours excluding weekends and public holidays. Pack/jar sizes may be substituted to make up the required order.
Delivery
Goods are delivered by courier. The cost of delivery is £4.99 for each order up to 25kg (UK mainland only - please enquire as to delivery costs to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and outside mainland UK) We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the Products, however arising.
Defective Items
You can always return items if they arrive defective. We check every item before despatch and consequently errors are very few. If you discover a fault with one of our products, please e-mail us to discuss the nature of you concern. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. When confirmed our staff will arrange what is to be done about correction of the defect.
Returns
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 states that you are entitled to a seven working day cooling-off period in which time you can cancel your order in writing and return the unopened goods to receive a full refund. Please note that the cost of returning the goods to us will be met by you the customer. After this period, items in their original and undamaged packaging, can be returned within 28 days of the sale however a 25%handling charge may be applied . You are responsible for the safe and efficient method of returning the goods. If goods are returned in a damaged condition no refund will be made.Please be aware that items individually made up for you are not refundable.
Sale of Goods and Disclaimer
All Products are believed by The Good Salt Company to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Any defect should be reported to The Goods Salt Company within three working days of receipt of the goods. All technical information, as well as all comments regarding Health and Beauty, are given by The Good Salt Company in good faith, and are always anectotal in character. Under no circumstances should any instructions or comments, wether given on the products themselves, on the web- site, on leaflets or fliers, by e-mail or 'phone, ever take the place of qualified medical advice. It will ultimately be for You to satisfy yourself as to the suitabitlity of the product having regard to Your own particular situation and state of health, unknown to The Good Salt Company.The liability of The Good Salt Company will not exceed the value of the Products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequecial, financial and other such losses are excluded. Please read all instructions and product information carefully.
On-screen Colour Representation and the Nature of Natural Products
Computer screens cannot always represent product colours accurately or consistently. Moreover, Himalayan Salt Products are natural products, and therefore have natural variations of colour, shape and size.In fact this accounts for a large part of their charm, and may be taken as a sign of quality. This is particularly the case with our lamps and tea-light holders.Product pictures on our web-site are examples only, and are not identical with the product You will be sent. However, we will always endeavour to fulfill anyparticuar wishes to the best of our ability and stock availability.
