the salt
Himalayan Crystal Salt was created over 250 million years ago from primordial seas and their subsequent evaporation by the sun. It was condensed into geometric, crystalline structures by the formation of the Himalayan Mountains. Within these crystalline structures, the sun's energy now lies stored. Protected from environmental pollution, this salt remains the purest in the world, and offers the highest mineral content of any salt. The 84 minerals present in the primordial sea and stored over millions of years in the Crystal Salt are in a similar ratio to the minerals in our body fluid.
Some facts about Salt
There is plenty of salt in the world. All salt derives from oceans or salt lakes, either past or present. Currently 70% of our planet is covered with oceans.SEA SALT contains trace elements, but is nowadays contaminated with environmental pollution, and 80% of seasalt is refined.
ROCK SALT is similar in content to Crystal Salt, but contains fewer elements. These have not been subject to sufficient tectonic compression, are therefore not integrated into the salt grid and remain too coarse for cell absorption.
COMMON - OR- TABLE SALT consists of sodium chloride and a range of declarable and undeclarable additives like fluoride, iodine and aluminium hydroxide. This no longer bears any resemblance to natural and 'whole' salt. Sodium chloride is identified by the body as an aggressor. This is countered by sacrificing highly structured cellfluids in order to flush out the recognised poisons. This depletes the body of life giving liquids and stresses the organs of excretion in the process.
